The gallery originally opened as Sims Gallery, in 1998, specializing in traditional Newlyn and Modern British. In 2001, the gallery became known as Market House under the auspices of Jonathan Grimble, who brought many modern and contemporary artists to further prominance.
2005 saw Kevin Dickenson take over the reins. He in particular, promoted many contemporary artists.
During 2007 I took over the space, returning to Market House grass roots with quality 20th Century Cornish Artists and the introduction of several new current figures.
We carry an extensive stock of drawings, watercolours, oils, sculpture, retro ceramics and glassware.
Open 7 days a week, Mon – Sunday, 11am – 4pm or by Appointment.
