Winter painting can get stale if you're not bold

Rip it up and start again

This lovely painting started rather well.l I was using liquin to help with the drying time plus you get that lovely sheen. But then I found myself just repeating myself as if I was going through the motions.

I was not a happy boy so had to wipe it off and to my surprise, I saw where to go simply because I was prepared to be ruthless and get results that pleased me.

I like where this has gone and just goes to show there's life on the old dog yet.
